Role: QA Test Engineer (Manual) Location: Dublin, OH (Onsite) (Local) Duration of project: 6 months+ Required visa: Any visa (Except H1B and CPT) Position Overview: Our Client is looking for a Quality Assurance Analyst to test their voice AI platform. In this role, the Quality Assurance Analyst will be responsible for creating test scenarios and cases to validate Our Clients AI Platform, ensuring high-quality results that meet business goals. Experience with Speech to Text (STT) generative voice AI technology (Google Gemini, ChatGPT, or similar) is required. Provide information and input from a testing perspective to support prioritization and backlog grooming, sprint planning, daily stand-ups, product demos, and sprint retrospectives. Identify and create different test scenarios and conditions. Document test cases and execute them against the system. Experience with Jira or a similar tool is necessary. Must have basic Point-of-Sale knowledge (preferably NCR Aloha). An individual with excellent written and oral communication skills (clear verbal skills to run tests against Voice AI). Capable of prioritizing and has the potential to multi-task work. Ability to troubleshoot and analyze different types of issues. Meet timelines and minimize disruption to partner teams, proactively managing schedule and risks. Ability to adapt to changing procedures, environments, and tools in the QA space. Accelerate progress by driving timely decisions, clearing blockers, and escalating appropriately. Partner closely with the engineering teams to replicate and resolve issues. Ability to work independently as well as in a team, seeking guidance as needed. Experience in UAT and reporting results to stakeholders for release. Responsibilities: Responsible for identifying and creating different test scenarios on a day-to-day basis. Create and execute manual test cases for Our Clients AI Platform daily. Work closely with the Google AI and Web Application teams to understand production issues and create test cases for fixed bug execution. Collaborate with other QA teams to understand and work on different use cases. Escalate issues that need more information to the concerned team and document the learnings. Troubleshoot hardware and/or software issues, with a preference for software experience. Conduct Root Cause Analysis to identify problems and implement process improvements to prevent future issues. Provide suggestions on any areas of improvement. Able to Sign-off as QA tested after the test completed and passed successfully. Assist with technical interviews to hire candidates with similar skill set. Qualifications: Minimum of 8+ years of professional QA Engineer experience- Preferred. Experience with Speech to Text (STT) generative voice AI technology (Google Gemini, ChatGPT, or similar) - Required. Experience in creating Test Cases and Test Suites, executing Test Scripts, capturing bugs, and working with developers/business analysts to resolve issues- Required. Experience in Regression, E2E, Integration, and Smoke testing- Required. Possess strong technical, analytical, and customer engagement skills, comfortable communicating with product owners and managing end-user expectations- Preferred. Good understanding of ecommerce applications and architecture to assist in troubleshooting- Required. Technical aptitude to understand system architecture and follow how the various components interact- Preferred. Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or a combination of education and experience- Required. Must have basic knowledge and experience working with Aloha Software products or an equivalent Point of Sale system- Required.
