Role Lead Data Engineer Location- Seattle, WA (Locals only, No Relocation) Visa: USC/GC Rate: DOE Mandatory Skill : Good communication. We need candidates who are having very good experience in working with customer / stakeholder . Hands-on experience in writing complex SQL script. Someone who can write code on the go kind . Job Description: We are looking for a Technical Lead candidate with strong hands-on experience in Technologies within Data Engineering Stack. She/he would have the primary responsibility of being able to design and review code, resolve technical issues, identify bug and codes; interface with customer stakeholders (Sr. level technologists). The interaction would be (but not limited to) with Technical/ Solution Architects, Product managers, Project Members and CTOs organization. Required Technologies: Python Programming, ETL, PostgreSQL, PL/SQL, SQL Database Pre-requisites: 10 + Years of overall experience in Data Management, Data Analysis ETL or in similar field. Hands-on experience on Python coding; should be able to write complex programs (Mandatory) Experience in ETL design, ETL Pipeline and DWH tools development & support. Design, develop, and maintain PostgreSQL(pref) database objects, including schema design, PL/SQL stored procedures, functions, packages, triggers etc. Able to write and debug complex SQLs; Analyze and optimize complex SQL queries and ensure efficient data retrieval. Experience and Knowledge of data management fundamentals, data storage principles and ETL. Experience/Knowledge with any of cloud systems Azure, AWS or GCP. Certification in PostgreSQL or related database technologies is a plus. Work closely with application developers and other IT teams to understand their requirements and provide database support and solutions Providing guidance and mentoring to the team as needed in a global team environment Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills (coding exercise will be part of the selection process) Strong Leadership, communication (written, oral) and ability to work in a team. Education Qualification: BS/BA in Computer Science, Information Technology, or an equivalent combination of education or experience.
