Troubleshoot and optimize existing scripts to improve efficiency and reliability. Collaborate with development teams to create custom scripts that meet project-specific requirements. GitHub Actions: Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions. Create and manage workflows for building, testing, and deploying applications across various environments. Integrate GitHub Actions with other tools and platforms to enhance the development lifecycle. CI/CD Pipeline Management: Maintain and enhance existing CI/CD pipelines, ensuring they are efficient, reliable, and scalable. Monitor pipeline performance and make improvements to reduce build and deployment times. Work closely with development teams to integrate new projects and services into the CI/CD pipeline. Build Automation (Maven/Gradle): Manage and optimize build processes using Maven or Gradle, ensuring efficient and reliable builds. Integrate Maven/Gradle with CI/CD pipelines to automate build, testing, and deployment processes. Resolve build issues and optimize build configurations to reduce build times and improve consistency. Collaboration and Support : Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, QA engineers, and system administrators, to deliver high-quality software. Provide technical support and guidance to team members on best practices for code quality, automation, and CI/CD. Participate in code reviews, providing feedback to ensure code quality and consistency. Documentation and Reporting: Document processes, workflows, and best practices related to SonarQube, Bash scripting, and GitHub Actions. Generate reports on code quality metrics, pipeline performance, and deployment statistics for management review. Maintain up-to-date documentation on CI/CD processes and tools. Qualifications: Technical Skills: SonarQube: Proficiency in configuring and managing SonarQube for code quality analysis. Bash Scripting: Strong experience in writing, debugging, and optimizing Bash scripts for automation. GitHub Actions: Hands-on experience designing and maintaining CI/CD workflows using GitHub Actions. Maven/Gradle: Build Hands-on experience with build using Maven or Gradle Experience: 3+ years of experience in a DevOps, Build/Release Engineer, or similar role. Experience working with version control systems, particularly Git and GitHub. Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes is a plus. Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex systems. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a proactive attitude. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Education: Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. Preferred Qualifications : Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. Knowledge of other scripting languages (e.g., Python, Perl) is a plus. Familiarity with other CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, CircleCI, GitLab CI/CD).
