ONLY Locals Long-term Contract Key Responsibilities Production Stability: Lead efforts to maintain and improve production stability by proactively preventing issues and implementing preventive measures. Service Level Management: Define and enforce Service Level Objectives (SLOs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs), and manage error budgets to ensure system reliability and availability. Performance Monitoring: Focus on key performance indicators such as response times, error rates, and uptime to ensure alignment with business objectives. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process and performance improvements, including automation of tasks and reduction of manual efforts. Monitoring and Metrics: Define and deploy systems for monitoring, metrics, and logging, and develop dashboards to visualize application health and performance. Incident Management: Provide reactive support for production issues, communicate status updates effectively, and contribute to root cause analysis (RCA). Expertise Development: Develop expertise in assigned application domains and stay updated with new technologies. Communication: Regularly update stakeholders on progress, including user stories and ITSM problems, and attend meetings to prioritize and resolve issues. Required Skills and Experience Experience: 5-6+ years in application development with modern technologies and architecture. 2+ years in Site Reliability Engineering or a related field. Technical Skills: Understanding of public cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure or Pivotal Cloud Foundry. Strong knowledge of REST APIs and their practical application. Experience with continuous integration and collaboration tools like Azure DevOps, JIRA, Bitbucket, GitHub, and Confluence. Proficiency with CLI tools (Bash, Linux, Azure CLI). Experience with technologies such as Java, J2EE, Pivotal Cloud Foundry, Cloud Computing (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS), RESTful interfaces, GIT, Gradle, Maven, NPM, Spring (Batch and Boot), CSS3, HTML4, React.js, Node.js/JavaScript. Soft Skills: Excellent leadership and communication abilities. Ability to interpret monitoring alerts and apply them in issue resolution. Flexibility to learn new technologies and perform hands-on development as needed.
