Job Title: Salesforce Tech Lead

Client Location: West Des Moines, IA (can be remote)

Duration: 12 Months

Visa: GC, USC only

*Must have lead experience with 8+ Years of experience

*Must have excellent communication skills

*There will be a tech screen in the interview process

I am looking to fill this position ASAP.
This role is contract-only. I do not have any full-time positions remaining for this years budget, and it is too early to determine for 2025.
The job description below is for the employee equivalent role.
The minimum 8 years of Salesforce experience is negotiable for the right candidate with the right skillset.
Like my past tech lead employee role, I will be very selective. Only submit candidates you are confident are a great fit.
I need someone to be an informal technology leadersomeone vocal in meetings, who helps with designs, completes proofs of concepts, recommends solutions within the Salesforce ecosystem, and mentors junior
team members while also completing user stories for normal development work.
OmniStudio experience is essential, especially with OmniChannel, deep service cloud configuration, or Financial Services Cloud (FSC) experience (Action Launcher, Action Plan, Flex Cards).

The team is currently weak in areas like Service Process Definition, Action Plans, Action Launcher, Flex Cards, OmniScripts, Data Synchronization Pattern, Data Virtualization Pattern, Outlook Integration,
Integration Security Best Practices, Orchestration, and Transformation.

Location:

Remote is acceptable, but must work close to SFG hours:

Monday to Thursday: 7:30 AM 5:00 PM CDT
Friday: 7:30 AM 12:30 PM CDT

Required Skills:

Strong Apex development skills
OmniStudio experience: OmniChannel, deep Service Cloud configuration, FSC experience (Action Launcher, Action Plan, Flex Cards)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly with business staff and product owners.

What You Can Expect as the Salesforce Technical Lead:

The Salesforce Technical Lead will play a key role in leading the design, development, and implementation of Salesforce solutions. This position will not only involve hands-on development but also require technical leadership and mentoring of
junior developers to ensure successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the design, development, and implementation of Salesforce solutions, particularly in Financial Services Cloud, Service Cloud, and Omni-Channel.
Provide technical leadership and mentoring to a team of Salesforce developers.
Collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define project scope, and architect solutions that meet business needs.
Architect and design solutions leveraging Salesforce's full capabilities, including Apex, Lightning components, and integrations with external systems.
Implement Salesforce data integration patterns for synchronization between Salesforce and external systems.
Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
Stay current with Salesforce technologies and trends, recommending new features and functionalities where applicable.
Support agile methodologies, participating in sprint planning and reviews.
Serve as a Salesforce subject matter expert, offering guidance on technical architecture and implementation strategies.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring application stability and performance.
Implement CI/CD pipelines in Salesforce using industry best practices.

Desired Skills & Qualifications:

Extensive hands-on experience with Salesforce development tools, including Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, Salesforce APIs, and Salesforce DX.
Proven leadership and mentoring skills, with the ability to guide a team of developers toward excellence.
Strong problem-solving abilities with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions.
Excellent communication skills, able to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Experience working in an Agile development environment, particularly with Azure DevOps.
Passion for innovation and continuous learning in Salesforce technologies.
Criminal background check required.
Minimum 8 years of experience as a Salesforce developer (negotiable for exceptional candidates).
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Certified Platform Developer, Technical Architect, System Architect) are highly desirable.
