This individual will perform a variety of software development assignments. The current focus for this team is CI/CD pipeline tasks but could pivot to other tasks including standardizing and migrating Java applications to k8s, building and standardizing local development environments, and supporting other Cloud-based application migration initiatives. Requirements Experience with the following: MUST have GitLab CI/CD pipeline development and integration experience; Java development (they want a Java development background DevOps engineer not someone with cloud/systems DevOps bkgd); Running applications and successful deployments in Kubernetes; Experience writing SQL queries. Preferred Skill and experience following SOLID Design Principles. Understanding of how to structure code that is easy to understand and maintain. Experience as Champion of quality and automated testability.
