We only want D365 F&O (ERP) candidates. Looking for a candidate whose experience includes r requirements gathering, conducting fit-gap analysis, configured modules such as Finance, and Supply Chain, Ops, and HR modules for optimal functionality. Technical & Functional expertise includes leading configuration and setup for D365 F&O applications, ensuring alignment with business needs. Provided training to end users and configured D365 F&O. Manager notes: ERP specialist - the main modules they are using are F&O (Finance & Operations) and supply chain. They are not interested in someone that is strong in CRM, Sales Hub or Business Central (the small business version of D365). They need to be able to configure the application. They are trying to implement "Out of the Box" - so want to do very little or no customization - so SW developers are not needed as they typically want to write code and will lean toward customization. They need to be able to work with the business and help them change their processes to work with the software. Job Responsibilities Establishing ERP needs via business process analysis and consultation. Analyzing existing systems and performing IT system enhancements. Writing customized programs and scripts, as well as configuring ERP applications as required. Developing user-friendly functionalities and interfaces. Installing ERP software and ensuring seamless integration with IT systems. Performing diagnostic tests and resolving issues to optimize performance. Providing technical support and training ERP end-users. Serve as subject matter expert on ERP systems and processes. Develop training materials and provide user training on ERP system changes. Partner with the technical teams on data migration for new ERP implementations or upgrades. Monitor system performance and partner with the infrastructure team to identify areas for improvement. Preparing development progress updates and documenting ERP processes. Adhering to company policies, regulatory compliance, and industry regulations. Keeping abreast of the latest ERP features and upgrades. Partner with the technical teams on all levels Tier support for ERP users experiencing technical issues. Configure user roles and permissions within D365 to enable the right level of segregation of duties (SOD) for end-users. Documenting the different solutions implemented (business rules, flow rules, schematics, user documentation, processes, configurations, etc.). Leads the functional design, implementation, and maintenance of specific business areas of D365. Shapes business requirements by making recommendations and suggesting alternatives to proposed solutions. Translates conceptual user requirements into clear, detailed functional requirements. Works with business and technical stakeholders to develop and document user stories and manage requirements scoping throughout the delivery process. Prioritizes and maintains the product backlog and participates in sprint planning to help determine the technical teams objectives for the upcoming sprint. Participates in agile ceremonies such as stand-ups, backlog refinement, and team retrospectives; ensures the team has a clear understanding of the business priorities. Works with the development team to create acceptance criteria and definitions of failures and done. Sets expectations with business stakeholders for delivery of new capabilities, features, and functionalities. Job Requirements A bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or something similar is preferred. At least 5 to 7 years' experience as an ERP specialist in a related industry. Dynamics 365 certifications in Trade & Logistics, Production, and Shop Floor Control preferred. Dynamics 365 certifications in Finance, Human Resources, and Project Accounting a plus A background in business administration, project management, or a related field will be advantageous. In-depth knowledge of D365 ERP development tools, coding languages, and business processes is required. Great organizational and time management skills. Exceptional interpersonal, collaboration, and communication abilities. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Extensive experience working in specific areas such as Finance, Procurement, Sales, Distribution, Warehouse Management, Material and Resource Scheduling/ Planning, Production Routing, Bill of Material Costing, and Shop Floor. Prior experience in designing and implementing business solutions. Experience with ERP implementations and Migrations to D365, ISVs, and integrations. Family with Supply Chain and Discrete Manufacturing Ability to understand complex business problems and experience determining the explicit and implicit needs and requirements of various stakeholders. Ability to quickly learn the objectives, structures, operations, and policies of new businesses. Strong problem-resolution, negotiation, and influencing skills. Demonstrated ability to engage and influence both developers and business partners to achieve target outcomes. Demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical information in a condensed manner to various stakeholders verbally and in writing. Experience creating documentation such as business case documentation, use case, story, and acceptance criteria.
