Experience and Education: Responsibilities: Migrate from SQL Change Automation to Flyway for database source control (SQL Change Automation is end of life) ~215 database projects to migrate Level up on Azure database knowledge and experience Azure SQL Database Azure SQL Managed Instance Azure Data Factory More Databricks Automate Azure database maintenance and monitoring (ties into IaC templates) Platformize our on prem database, reporting, and other resource provisioning processes These are all currently built specific to the database team Migrate Power BI Report Server to the Power BI cloud service. Transition reporting permissions to App Catalog General database environment upkeep Reduce inbox noise (handful of maintenance scripts require updates) Resolve database drift not attributed to ongoing projects Fix compatibility level issues introduced with the SQL 2022 upgrade. Required Skills: Database Administration (Microsoft SQL Server) *** Very important. PowerShell *** Very important, significant experience, not just that theyve used it.
