AWS (Amazon Web Services) Cloud Computing: Core Services: Familiarity with services such as EC2 (Elastic Compute Cloud), S3 (Simple Storage Service), RDS (Relational Database Service), DynamoDB (NoSQL database), Lambda (serverless computing), and others. Deployment and Management: Skills in deploying applications and managing resources on AWS. This includes using AWS CLI, CloudFormation for infrastructure as code, and understanding AWS best practices for security, scaling, and cost management. Networking: Knowledge of VPC (Virtual Private Cloud), subnets, security groups, and network ACLs. 2. NoSQL Database (DynamoDB & Cassandra): DynamoDB: Design and Management: Ability to design efficient tables, use primary and secondary indexes, and implement DynamoDB Streams and triggers. Performance Optimization: Understanding of partition keys, sort keys, and how to manage read/write capacity units for performance. Integration: Skills in integrating DynamoDB with other AWS services and handling data migrations. Cassandra: Architecture: Knowledge of Cassandra's distributed architecture, including nodes, data distribution, and replication. Data Modeling: Proficiency in designing data models that leverage Cassandras strengths in handling large volumes of data and ensuring high availability. Management: Experience with cluster management, monitoring, and troubleshooting Cassandra instances. 3. Java (Core Java): Core Concepts: Strong understanding of Java fundamentals including OOP (Object-Oriented Programming), exception handling, multithreading, collections framework, and streams. APIs and Libraries: Experience with various Java libraries and frameworks that can be used in conjunction with NoSQL databases and cloud services. Integration: Skills in integrating Java applications with DynamoDB and Cassandra, handling connectivity, queries, and data transformations. 4. DBA Skills: Database Administration: Skills in database setup, configuration, performance tuning, backup and recovery strategies, and user management. Security: Understanding of database security practices including encryption, access controls, and compliance requirements. Troubleshooting: Ability to diagnose and resolve database issues, optimize queries, and ensure high availability and data integrity.
