You will be instrumental in providing key data science components to support the development of retail strategy. What you'll be doing Working as a key member within the Strategic Innovations and Analytics team to develop analytical solutions that improve business outcomes. Identifying and assessing the impact across large vehicle populations, using data mining, predictive modeling, simulation, and visualization techniques. Performing hands-on analysis, designing search patterns, developing mining automation, and executing data reduction. Mentoring other team members to develop their analytical skills. Staying updated with the latest software and hardware products or services, trends, and identifying the best solutions to meet business requirements. Establishing strong working relationships with peer teams to review requirements/problem areas and determine the appropriate statistical techniques to apply on available data. Driving the collection of new data and refining existing data sources. Developing best practices for instrumentation and experimentation and communicating those to peer teams. The right person has 4+ years of experience using data to solve problems, answer questions, and create visualizations. 4+ years of experience in data quality analysis and data architecture. 4+ years of professional development experience. 4+ years of experience in Big Data technologies in Hadoop/Hive/Spark platform using Python/Scala. Masters degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Operations Research, Economics, Physics, Computer Science or other STEM fields preferred but will take Bachelors Degree.
