Our team is growing, and we're looking for a highly skilled Linux Engineer who is passionate about using their expertise in AWS, Kubernetes, EKS, Bash scripting, SSSD, Active Directory, Helm, and Docker to help us design, deploy, and manage our next-generation infrastructure. Job Title: Linux Engineer Location: Remote Key Responsibilities: Design, implement, and manage our AWS cloud infrastructure to ensure high availability, performance, and scalability. Deploy, configure, and maintain containerized applications using Docker and manage orchestration with Kubernetes, with a specific focus on Amazon EKS. Develop and maintain automation scripts in Bash to streamline setup and deployment processes. Ensure seamless integration of Linux-based systems with Active Directory using SSSD for centralized authentication and authorization. Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to ensure optimal system functionality and security. Collaborate with the development team to design and deploy scalable, secure, and fault-tolerant applications on the AWS platform. Stay updated with new technologies and best practices in cloud computing, containerization, and system security to advise on potential improvements. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. 5+ years of experience as a Linux Engineer with a strong background in deploying and managing infrastructures on AWS. Proficiency in Kubernetes and Docker containerization technologies, including hands-on experience with Amazon EKS and Helm. Expert knowledge of Bash scripting and automation tools to streamline system and application deployments. Experience with SSSD and integrating Linux systems with Active Directory environments. Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team to resolve complex issues. Excellent oral and written communication skills, capable of documenting and explaining configuration changes and systems designs. Relevant certifications in AWS, Kubernetes, or Linux are a plus.
