Role :: SQL Developer (ETL, SQL Server, T-SQL) Location :: New York City Onsite/Hybrid Job type-: Contract Looking Visa Independent Domain: Investment banking, Capital market Job Description Responsibilities: Design and implement database solutions using SQL and related technologies. Develop data models for applications, metadata tables, views or related database structures. Create and maintain complex ETL processes. Optimize database systems for performance efficiency. Perform data analysis and validate data integrity. Collaborate with application developers to create optimized queries. Ensure security practices are implemented and maintained in all database processes. Document the database setup and architecture. Stay up-to-date with advancements in technology and propose improvements to the current database systems. Provide on-call support as needed for critical database issues. Requirements: Proven experience as a SQL Database Developer. Strong experience with SQL Server, T-SQL, stored procedures, and functions. Demonstrated knowledge of data modeling principles and methodologies. Experience with ETL tools and data integration techniques. Understanding of data warehousing principles and architecture. Familiarity with database design, documentation, and coding. Knowledge of best practices when dealing with relational databases. Capable of troubleshooting common database issues. Familiar with tools that can aid with profiling server resource usage and optimizing it.
