Position - Oracle BSA Duration - 6-month contract-to-hire Location: Irvine, CA ( onsite ) Visa USC , GC Note - Please include linkedin profiles w/ profile photo and a photo id (drivers license/passport etc.) Job Description The Senior Business Systems Analyst II for Technical Services is responsible for understanding business processes, capturing business and functional requirements, promoting industry-leading business practices, and designing and configuring systems and applications critical to key business functions. This role involves collaborating with end users to understand their needs and developing, configuring, and testing solutions to address those needs. The Analyst will also lead the implementation, adoption, and utilization of applications and systems to enhance business operations, improve processes, and meet new business requirements. **Responsibilities:** - Conduct sessions with business users to demonstrate standard system functionality and features. - Lead discussions with business users to gather, analyze, and document functional requirements. - Implement and configure systems using best practices. - Analyze non-standard business requirements and propose industry-standard solutions. - Oversee data conversion efforts related to key system modules. - Build, configure, and develop prototype solutions to showcase alternatives to users. - Provide clear and concise requirements to developers and other team members for solution design and development. - Create and execute unit, integration, and user acceptance test plans, including use cases and test data. - Manage and perform system-testing activities for releases and upgrades. - Conduct application and process-specific training to educate users on configured solutions. - Document system configurations and testing protocols to ensure quality and regulatory compliance. **Preferred Qualifications:** - 5-7 years of expertise in enabling and improving business processes using relevant system modules. - Experience with full lifecycle system implementations. - Proficiency in creating business process models and using them to identify and define requirements. - Familiarity with software development life cycle tools such as Jira is preferred. - Ability to work collaboratively with minimal supervision and as part of a team. - Effective communication skills with both technical and non-technical staff; strong written, speaking, and interpersonal skills. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to delve into challenges, identify solutions, and apply critical thinking. **Education:** A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is required.
