The Software Engineer will have the opportunity to work in an agile environment, utilizing a variety of skills and languages in a fast-paced, cutting-edge setting where their input can enhance processes and team interactions. This position is based in Washington, DC or Huntsville, AL.Your future duties and responsibilities Collaborate within scrum teams comprising Product Owners (PO), Scrum Masters (SM), other engineers, and testers. Understand requirements outlined in user stories. Take ownership of user stories and work independently. Conduct unit testing. Perform more complex testing on user stories coded by others when the team needs to collaborate at the end of a sprint. Deploy code into a pipeline. Engage with clients, requiring excellent written and verbal communication skills. Identify and address risks within the team.Required qualifications to be successful in this role Active Top-Secret clearance. Bachelor's degree in software development, or related discipline Agile/Scrum methodologies. + years of software engineering experience. ElasticSearch and OpenSearch .NET, C#, Javascript, and Java Terraform Experience developing and maintaining components in AWS SpringBoot framework Please note that ship is required for this government contract position.
