| From: Rukmini, 4serve [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Senior Backend Developer-Retail/e-Commerce Client Long term contract Onsite: Dublin, OH Responsibilities: Develop and maintain backend services for our retail/e-Commerce platform, ensuring high performance and responsiveness. Integrate Text-To-Speech (TTS) AI technologies into our existing systems to enhance user experience. Design and implement APIs to support TTS functionalities and other backend services. Identify and create different test scenarios on a day-to-day basis. Perform Proof of Concept (POC) with different tools. Collaborate with other QA teams to understand and automate different use cases. Escalate issues that need more information to the concerned team and document the learnings. Work closely with the Google AI team to understand production issues and create automated tests for the next execution. Conduct Root Cause Analysis to identify problems and implement process improvements to prevent future issues. Provide suggestions on any areas of improvement. Sign-off as QA tested after the test is completed and passed successfully. Assist with technical interviews to hire candidates with similar skill sets. Optimize and scale backend systems to handle increasing traffic and data loads. Conduct code reviews and provide mentorship to junior developers. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies in AI and backend development. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to backend services and TTS integrations. Ensure security and data protection best practices are followed in all backend services. Qualifications: Minimum of 8+ years of professional experience in backend development. Experience with text-to-speech (TTS)/speech synthesis technology/tools - Required. Hands-on experience coding in Python, PHP, Java, C/C++ or equivalent language - Required. Experience with OCR (Optical Character Recognition) libraries and tools like Tesseract, OCRopus - Required. Experience working with AI tools like Murf AI, ElevenLab - Preferred. API knowledge and experience with REST or SOAP - Required. Developer or SDET background (Developer preferred) - Required. Good understanding of eCommerce applications and architecture to assist in troubleshooting - Required. Technical aptitude to understand system architecture and follow how the various components interact - Preferred. Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related discipline, or combination of education and experience - Required. Monitor application logs to determine system behavior. Address all technical issues; facilitate the resolution and follow up with Development and other cross-functional departments.
