Position:: Automotive Engineering Technician Location: Santa Clara, CA Duration: 6 months Visa : Any Interview mode: Video Job Description: We are now looking for an Engineering Technician for our Autonomous Vehicle team. As an engineering technician of our team, you will be working under the supervision of senior engineers responsible for developing and maintaining hardware systems to drive the car. What we would like to see: 3-5 years of hands-on proven experience in electrical/electronics and vehicles and the ability to demonstrate high proficiency in these areas Ways to stand out from the crowd: Diagnosis expertise for on-the-spot resolution to end-user concerns is needed Basic computer, customer service, problem-solving and excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) required High proficiency in debugging and troubleshooting of electrical / electronic systems Background in electronic components, automotive industry, and equipment Thorough knowledge of test equipment including the use of instruments for diagnostic purposes Experience and ability to work in a fast-paced environment with high-quality performance ASE or MECP certification preferred, but not required Knowledge and experience using Windows or Linux operating system What you'll be doing: Working with Linux, Scripting, Navigation, Testing. Build, prototype, assemble, configure, and test autonomous development systems Integrate systems into vehicle platforms and debug, maintain them Cable building and inspections. What we need to see: Proficient in Linux, in navigation, operating commands, testing sensors. Proficient scripting ability with Python and other languages.
