Position - Senior Azure Cloud Infrastructure Engineer (Senior level or Architect) Location Hybrid (Carmel, IN) Visas USC & GC only Need local, If not look for the nearby cities/states candidate Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Azure Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to manage and deploy our cloud infrastructure for the Enterprise. This role requires extensive experience with Microsoft Azure Cloud Platform, Terraform, and related technologies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Azure data resources and infrastructure as code (IaC), and will be adept at converting business requirements into technical solutions. Key Responsibilities: Azure Configuration and Management: Configure and manage Azure services including Azure Monitor, Virtual Machines, Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, Storage Accounts, Key Vaults, SQL Servers, Log Analytics, and Virtual Networks. Infrastructure as Code: Automate infrastructure deployment using Terraform and Azure Resource Manager templates. Networking: Familiarity with Azure ExpressRoute, Virtual Network Gateway, Local Network Gateway, Site-to-Site VPN, and Point-to-Site VPN connectivity. Access Control: Manage Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) and Access Control Lists (ACL). CI/CD Pipelines: Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub. Scripting: Develop and maintain scripts using PowerShell, Shell, and Azure CLI. Backup and Disaster Recovery: Configure backups and replication using Azure Recovery Services Vault. Monitoring and Auditing: Set up auditing, monitoring, and alerting for Azure solutions and services. Identity Management: Manage Azure AD Domain Services, App registrations, Service Principals, and managed domains. Workload Migration: Experience in migrating workloads from on-premises to Azure. Operating Systems: Knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems. Required Skills: Azure Data Resources: Strong background in Azure data resources and Azure Data Lake. Terraform: Extensive experience with Terraform for infrastructure deployment. CI/CD Pipelines: Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices. MLOps: Experience with MLOps is a significant plus. Data Management: Experience with ETL processes and data ingestion. Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues. Preferred Qualifications: Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in Azure cloud infrastructure. Terraform Expertise: Proficient in Terraform scripting and module development. Certifications: Azure Administrator (AZ-103 or AZ-104) and Azure Architect (AZ-304 and AZ-305) certifications are preferred. Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
