Healthcare experience would be a slam dunk. Job Overview: Seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to join our team in supporting a long-term healthcare partner. This role offers the flexibility of working remotely with occasional onsite visits to Washington, DC. The Senior Systems Engineer will be responsible for managing and optimizing critical systems, including Tableau and IBM WebSphere, within Linux/RHEL environments. Key Responsibilities: Administer and manage Tableau server infrastructure, ensuring performance, availability, and security. Oversee IBM WebSphere administration, focusing on installations, configurations, patching, upgrades, and performance tuning within Linux/RHEL environments. Provide support and administration for Cognos Analytics, ensuring data accuracy, performance optimization, and user access management. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve system issues, ensuring the continuous availability of critical systems. Monitor system performance and security, implementing best practices to ensure compliance with industry standards. Prepare and maintain documentation related to system architecture, configurations, processes, and procedures. Participate in planning and execution of system upgrades and migrations. Provide support for users and troubleshoot any system-related issues, offering guidance and training as needed. Requirements: 5+ years of experience in Tableau administration, including managing, configuring, and optimizing Tableau server environments. 5+ years of IBM WebSphere administration experience within Linux/RHEL environments. Prior experience with Cognos Analytics, including installation, configuration, and administration. Strong problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team. Ability to occasionally visit the Washington, DC office as needed for onsite support. Preferred Skills: Healthcare industry experience. Familiarity with automation tools and scripting for managing system configurations. Experience with performance tuning and capacity planning for enterprise-level applications.
