Performance Tuning: Skills in tuning Kafka performance to optimize throughput, latency, and reliability. Troubleshooting: Strong troubleshooting skills for Kafka-related issues and performance problems. Desirable Skills: Advanced Kafka Features: Experience with advanced Kafka features and configurations, such as Kafka Streams, Kafka Connect, and Schema Registry. Cloud Integration: Experience with deploying Kafka on cloud platforms (e.g., AWS MSK, Confluent Cloud). Security: Knowledge of securing Kafka clusters, including encryption, authentication, and authorization. Data Integration: Experience with data integration patterns and technologies related to Kafka. Monitoring and Management: Familiarity with monitoring Kafka clusters using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or Confluent Control Center. Responsibilities: Architecture Design: Design and implement Kafka-based data streaming and messaging solutions that meet the needs of the organization.
