We are looking for a Senior Backend Developer (Node.js) this role is 100% remote and will be a 6mth contract to start with extensions. Candidates must live in EST, CST, or MST and will be working 8:30-5:30 CST hours. Senior Back End Developer (Node.js) Product & Innovation Required Qualifications: 7+ years in backend software development. Proficient in Node.js and frameworks like Express.js. Experience with NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB) and SQL databases. Familiarity with agile methodologies Knowledge of version control systems like Git and the ability to collaborate with development teams using Git-based workflows. Experience with CI/CD tools. Understanding of microservices architecture. Experience in designing scalable and maintainable software architectures. Knowledge of RESTful API design principles. Strong analytical and communication skills. Experience with performance monitoring tools and the ability to proactively address bottlenecks and issues. Preferred Qualifications: Proficiency in modern JavaScript (ES6+), with a deep understanding of best practices, patterns, and advanced features. Experience integrating Node.js applications with React front ends. Familiarity with Azure DevOps. Knowledge of logging tools like AppInsights and Dynatrace. Exposure to cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP). Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
