Ensure our APIs are secure, reliable, and performant. Solve product problems and build delightful API and developer experiences for our internal and external users. Own our third-party API integrations with TMS, telematics, and other partners. Work across different products, tech stacks, and programming languages. Work collaboratively with Engineering, Product, and Commercial teams to ensure our API integrations are aligned to business, customer, and partner needs. Qualifications 5+ years of experience as a software engineer (start-up or another fast-paced work environment) Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. A strong passion for API design and amazing developer experiences. Comfortable with ambiguity and changing requirements in an evolving environment. Strong technical background and experience with various software development methodologies. Security mindset with knowledge of API authentication and access mechanisms (such as OAuth, JWT). Experience with Go, Postgres, and scalable infrastructure (such as Kubernetes, Serverless, Lambda) and cloud providers (such as AWS, Azure, GCP). Ability to effectively communicate with Customers and Partners, demonstrating clarity, humility, and precision. Low ego and excited to work across various functions to help move the business forward.
