| From: Raj, Softcom Systems Inc [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Job Description: The Business Systems Analyst BSA ETL Modernization Project will lead the evaluation and modernization of ETL tools within the organization This role involves comprehensive project management from preparation and research through evaluation and final decisionmaking The BSA will work closely with IT and business stakeholders to ensure the project meets its objectives and timelines ultimately enhancing data integration capabilities and operational efficiency Work you will do As a business analyst youll work within a team involving multidisciplinary professionals helping to manage change and plan This could be for one specific project or as a driver for change to implement the agreed Roadmap Youll need to understand the current system identify future needs and create solutions to help meet those needs You will also play a key role in communicating between internal departments and external parties acting as a translator were necessary to support the clients needs Responsibilities Project Preparation and Planning oDefine clear objectives and develop criteria for ETL tool evaluation including cost performance scalability ease of use support and integration capabilities oIdentify potential ETL tools manage the TPRMCyber review process and collaborate with IT leaders to define project scope objectives and deliverables Research Analysis and Documentation oConduct thorough reviews consult industry experts and gather insights on ETL tools oCollect user reviews and case studies analyze feedback and document all processes and decisions Stakeholder Engagement and Communication oEngage continuously with stakeholders to gather detailed requirements conduct surveys and facilitate workshops oManage communications provide updates and maintain ongoing relationships to ensure stakeholder satisfaction Testing Evaluation and Tool Selection oEstablish a robust testing environment oversee tool installation and conduct comprehensive testing oEvaluate tools based on established criteria using scorecards prioritize features and select top tools for different personas through handson proofs of concept POCs Decision Making and Implementation oPresent findings and recommendations to stakeholders facilitate decisionmaking and lead crossfunctional teams in the deployment of selected ETL tools oEnsure smooth implementation and integration focusing on minimizing disruption to business operations Training Change Management and Support oDevelop and deliver training programs lead change management initiatives and provide technical support as necessary oConduct peer training sessions and workshops to educate on new processes and tools Documentation Compliance and Reporting oMaintain comprehensive documentation including user manuals system designs and standard operating procedures oEnsure compliance with organizational standards and industry regulations and prepare detailed project reports for senior management Project Management and Support oDevelop detailed project plans manage project budgets resources and timelines oAssist with project management tasks and provide performance metrics and status reports to stakeholders Required Qualifications Bachelors degree in computer science Information Systems Information Technology Business Administration or a related field Proven experience in business systems analysis with a strong emphasis on ETL processes and data integration projects Demonstrated ability to manage largescale IT projects and lead crossfunctional teams Experience with business intelligence tools and proficiency in SQL Strong technical proficiency in ETL tools and data integration technologies Ability to understand technical diagrams and user specifications Excellent analytical and problemsolving abilities focused on project management and ETL processes Excellent organizational interpersonal and communication skills Ability to manage stakeholder expectations and effectively lead project teams Keywords: information technology Business Solution Analyst -- Nashville, TN ( Day 1 Onsite) [email protected] |
