Will work with several teams to design and architect enterprise application integration solutions spanning across API Management, ESB Publish/Subscript messaging, queueing, Master Data Management and Data Synchronization and Service enablement. Will interact with key stakeholders in other Tech organizations to ensure that the solution will meet the capabilities and constraints of Lowes applications and services. Leads development of integrated business and/or enterprise applications to ensure solution is resilient, scalable, and maintainable and meet architectural standards. Develops standardized, reusable integration services that can be leveraged by the enterprise and third parties requiring key data and information from the LPS applications and solutions. Builds awareness and product alignment to enterprise recommended frameworks, tools, technologies, engineering platforms, and architectural processes Drives operational excellence through disaster recovery and capacity planning, performance and chaos testing, observability alerts and dashboards, and reliability processes and recovery runbooks Deconstructs complex problems into simple solutions that can evolve over time Educates others on engineering standards and best practices, including code quality analysis, test coverage, security principles (authentication and authorization protocols), AGILE processes Mentors and advises others by applying and sharing an in-depth understanding of enterprise and industry technologies, tools, methodologies, policies, standards and best practices Continuously explores and recommends new enterprise software components and technologies (libraries, framework, tools, DBs, etc.) Continuously works to simplify solutions, optimize processes, remove bottlenecks, and resolve escalated issues Demonstrates expertise in at least 2 of the four competencies below and working knowledge of others: Fronted: Building UI using React and NodeJS with proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML and CSS Middleware: Building resource efficient, scalable, and resilient Microservices and APIs using Java/Python/Go/Boomi/Biz/ETL Databases: Building optimal database persistence solutions using right database technologies (ex, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Elasticsearch, Redis, KAFKA, etc.) DevOps: Creating automated CI-CD processes using containerization solutions (Docker), CI tools (Drone, Jenkins, Spinnaker), Orchestration (Kubernetes, Helm) and Infrastructure automation (ArgoCD, Rancher, Ansible, Terraform, Chef) Required Skills (top 3 non-negotiables): Preferred Skills (nice to have) Ex: Agile Experience 2 Years minimum Ex: Case Management Experience 3+ years 1. Hands-On Boomi platform architecture experience and development: Boomi Atom Clouds, Local Atoms, and Molecules API security API portal and management B2B trading partner integrations 1. API Design & management tools and techniques including Apigee, Azure API, Kafka 2. Over 10 years of experience in iPaaS, B2Bi, ETL, and API integration project solutions, specializing in Boomi, MuleSoft, and Jitterbit 2. Architecture experience, including functional requirements, documentation, creating sequence/flow or overall architecture diagrams 3. More than 5 years of hands-on experience in architecting multiple large Boomi projects, encompassing API, B2B (EDI-X12), ESB, flows, ETL solutions, and platform architecture 3. Proficiency in Java and experience in at least two to three of the following categories of enterprise application integration architecting: Cloud/on-premises SQL databases: MS SQL, MS Azure, Oracle, etc. ERP systems: SAP, Oracle NetSuite, Infor, etc. Enterprise applications: Salesforce CRM, Workday, PeopleSoft, etc. Protocols: SFTP, FTP, SOAP, REST, EDI-X12 Data formats: CSV, XML, CXML, EDI, JSON, etc 4. Proven experience leading teams, including managing at least 2-3 senior engineers 4. Deep EAI/Integration experience with at least one major platform other than Boomi (Mulesoft, Workato, Talend, ESB..) 5. Demonstrated cross-functional team collaboration, communication, and architecture leadership experience, including leading teams of developers and senior developers both onshore and offshore 5. Experience in retail, supply chain, and B2B/B2C industries is highly desirable 6. Possession of at least two of the following Boomi certifications, with Boomi Architect being mandatory: Boomi Architect, Boomi API, Boomi Developer Disqualifiers/ Dislikes on Resumes: Managerial/Hands-off experience only. This role involves hands-on experience in architecture, design, administration, and support for Boomi application-to-application, ETL, B2B, and API integrations in complex environments. To excel in this role, you must be intelligent, organized, and dedicated to providing exceptional support to both cross-functional and business teams. Key responsibilities include client care, documentation, and best practice guidance, as well as designing and building support solutions for our diverse EDI, ETL, B2B, and API integration projects. Responsibilities Over 15 years of experience in the IT industry. More than 8 years in iPaaS, B2Bi, and API integration solutions. Over 5 years of experience in the retail, supply chain, and logistics industry. Hands-on experience in Boomi architecture, design, various topologies, integrations, iPaaS, API, and B2Bi. Expertise in environment design setup, process designs, error and exception handling, development, and deployment on Boomi integration platforms (Cloud & On-Premises). Proven track record of executing end-to-end implementation of projects involving design, API management lifecycle, and Boomi Flows. Practical experience with A2A/B2B integration, Boomi Flow, and API management. Proficient in EDI X12 standards. Preferred experience with Swagger, REST, SOAP, MQ, JSON, and Microservices. Strong understanding of various data formats including XML, JSON, CSV, and databases. Knowledge of communication protocols such as S/FTP/S, HTTP/S, File I/O, AS2, and VAN. Extensive work with various connectors such as SF, WD, SNOW, DB, and SFTP. Proficient in coding and scripting with Java, Groovy, JavaScript, etc. Strong analytical skills and a knack for solving complex integration scenarios. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to facilitate stakeholder meetings. Solid understanding of Agile/Lean methodology. Professional Boomi certifications in API, Core, and Architect (at least two are required). Experience with ERP Systems such as Infor/Salesforce/Workday/ERP integrations is essential. Experience in large scale Enterprise Integration projects in a cross functional setting is a must Qualifications Bachelors degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related scientific/technical field, or equivalent experience. Minimum of 15 years of experience in the Information Technology industry. Proven experience leading teams, including managing at least 2-3 senior engineers. Over 8 years of experience with the Boomi AtomSphere Platform. Experience working in multi-business and cross-functional teams. Skilled in real-time, batch, and ETL integration implementations. Proficient in designing, architecting, developing, and testing Boomi API, ETL, and EDI integrations. Experienced in Agile project execution (Kanban and SCRUM). Capable of overseeing junior engineers, managing, monitoring, troubleshooting, and supporting existing integrations, and promptly addressing issues or concerns. Committed to driving issue resolution within our published SLAs. Proficient in updating and maintaining policy and requirements documents. Provides technical expertise, mentorship, and support to the Boomi team as needed. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Supply chain or retail experience is essential. Boomi Flow and MDM experience is a plus.
