| From: Lokesh Shiv, Paramount Software Solutions Inc [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Full Stack/Java Developer Location: New York, NY (Hybrid 3 days a week onsite) Local candidates only must send documentation with name/address Candidate must be open to onsite interview Responsibilities including: - Working in an Agile environment with our users across Sales, Trading, Operations and Finance to implement innovative business ideas and increase business efficiency in a complex platform - Involve in the full development lifecycle of the project to ensure we iteratively deliver value to our stakeholders - Collaborate and engage with colleagues and technologists globally to drive both the platform's resiliency and scalability - Level 3 support to the users of the platform during the regional hours - The candidate should have experience with design and development Java 8+, an aptitude for understanding complex enterprise-scale systems and good problem-solving abilities. - A keen interest in the latest development tools and an enthusiasm for both technology and the business domain is required. - Experience with HTML 5.0 and Angular is a plus. Required Skills: Full Stack Developer most of work will be backend development and In-depth knowledge and solid commercial experience of Java 8+ Backend is Java/Scala and framework (external/internal Spring, Spring Boot, etc) and frontend is C#, WPF, Angular Must have Java and Angular experience (will consider candidate with current React and Angular in the past) Scala and WPF a plus Database: using DB2 and small pockets of MongoDB (not required) familiarity with relational db Intermediate level role 4-9 years experience, not a Sr level role Banking-related background required Not building a new system, will be enhancing an existing system to add new functionality, adding new flows new development role, spend some time for maintenance for upgrades, bug fixes Must be able to build API to connect frontend to backend from their own application Familiarity of CI/CD pipeline do not need expertise, just understanding of it Experience in automated testing and continuous integration platforms Good architectural knowledge, and experience working with frameworks & distributed environments Experience of basic SQL Desired Skills (not essential): - HTML5 technologies, Angular, Typescript, JavaScript - Scala, C#/WPF - Python experience - Experience in sales and trading platforms or middle office trade processing systems in Equities / FX / Fixed Income / Derivatives domain - Excel proficiency Morgan Stanley is an equal opportunities employer.
