This individual will play a crucial role in delivering new products and features to our customers. In this position, you will collaborate with a team of seasoned and talented engineers focused on building our suite of external facing products. In this role, a strong aptitude for analysis is essential to create software that aligns with the unique requirements of end users. The successful candidate will adeptly manage multiple priorities within tight deadlines, exhibit a genuine passion for developing high-quality customer applications, and showcase innovative problem-solving skills. Required Qualifications: 7+ years in backend software development. Proficient in Node.js and frameworks like Express.js. Experience with NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB) and SQL databases. Familiarity with agile methodologies Knowledge of version control systems like Git and the ability to collaborate with development teams using Git-based workflows. Experience with CI/CD tools. Understanding of microservices architecture. Experience in designing scalable and maintainable software architectures. Knowledge of RESTful API design principles. Strong analytical and communication skills. Experience with performance monitoring tools and the ability to proactively address bottlenecks and issues. Preferred Qualifications: Proficiency in modern JavaScript (ES6+), with a deep understanding of best practices, patterns, and advanced features. Experience integrating Node.js applications with React front ends. Familiarity with Azure DevOps. Knowledge of logging tools like AppInsights and Dynatrace.
