Full job description: We are looking for an Automated Test Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience developing and supporting functional automated regression tests using both browser monitor and http synthetic scripts in Dynatrace. Duties and Responsibilities: Develop, deploy, maintain, and support automated regression tests with a focus on Dynatrace synthetic tests The ability to turn a user story (or system requirement) into a meaningful automated regression test Handle multiple tasks/projects simultaneously. Ability to complete tasks with minimal supervision and collaboratively in a team environment. Ability to learn new technologies or off the shelf software quickly. Prioritize tasks and responsibilities. The ability to give and receive constructive feedback. Experience contributing to process improvement and the ability to bring new ideas to the table The ability to turn a user story (or system requirement) into a meaningful automated regression test Ability to identify and prioritizing high value regression tests for test automation Skills: Minimum of five years of experience with Dynatrace synthetics in a managed environment (not SAAS) Experience writing both HTML and Browser based Dynatrace tests Experience with Pre and Post script execution in Dynatrace synthetics (reword this) experience with http scripts with a full request body Experience creating Dynatrace dashboards Experience creating technical and non-technical charts and graphs in the Dynatrace Data explorer using Dynatrace Query Language Experience with the Dynatrace environment API. Especially the synthetics APIs and the event APIs. Experience with creating and maintaining batch files. Excellent communication with clients is a must. The successful candidate will have demonstrated effective oral and written communication. They are expected to maintain a positive working relationship with agency staff and other groups. Experience working on an Agile team. Understanding of how to troubleshoot common development issues. Ability to prioritize and self-manage multiple projects simultaneously.
