Job Title : EIS Data Engineer (Enterprise Information Systems) Location : San Antonio, TX (Onsite) Experience: 12+ Years Duration : Long Term Contract & Passport No is Mandatory Mandatory Skills: EIS (Enterprise Information Systems) AND Snowflake, SQL, DBT and Python Description: Data Engineering: Design, develop, and optimize complex SQL queries to support data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes. Build and maintain data pipelines using DBT to transform and model data within Snowflake. Ensure data quality and accuracy across all data platforms. Snowflake Expertise: Architect, implement, and manage scalable data solutions on the Snowflake platform. Optimize Snowflake performance, including tuning queries, managing workloads, and configuring storage. Cloud Migration: Lead or assist in the migration of on-premise databases and data warehouses to Snowflake on AWS or Azure. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement secure, reliable, and scalable cloud solutions. Develop strategies for data migration, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations. Programming & Scripting: Write efficient Python scripts to automate data processing tasks and integrate various data sources. Utilize Python for data analysis, transformation, and reporting. Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand data needs and deliver solutions. Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and other team members. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Experience: 8+ years of experience in data engineering or a related role. Strong experience with Snowflake, SQL, DBT, and Python. Proven experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS or Azure. Experience in data migration projects, particularly migrating to Snowflake. Skills: Expertise in designing and implementing ETL pipelines. Proficiency in data modeling and data warehousing concepts. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with cloud data security best practices.
