Hi, Position: SAP & Tosca Strategic Test Lead (Director) Location: Omaha, NE. Start date is ASAP Duration: 18+ MONTHS. Must have broad test leadership experience and must have interacted with C suite We need: A very very strong Strategic testing leader. This will need to be someone who can operate at a very high level, interact with C-level client resources, be a strategic thinking, drive the client, lay out data strategies for testing, etc. It would be someone at a director level at Hitachi if we had someone internally available. We are looking for a strategic SAP testing leader that can play a critical role in ensuring the successful implementation and continuous improvement of SAP systems at our client. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, leadership skills, and a strategic mindset. 1. Deep SAP Knowledge Comprehensive Understanding of SAP Modules: Familiarity with various SAP modules (e.g., FI/CO, SD, MM, HR) and their interdependencies is crucial. Comprehensive Understanding of Tricentis Tosca: Familiarity with Tosca test script automation and defining data strategies for automated testing Technical Expertise: Knowledge of SAP testing tools (e.g., SAP Solution Manager, Test Automation tools like HP UFT, Tricentis Tosca) and methodologies. Process Knowledge: Strong understanding of business processes and how they are mapped in SAP. 2. Strategic Thinking Visionary Approach: Ability to align SAP testing strategies with the organizations overall goals and future direction. Risk Management: Skilled in identifying potential risks in SAP implementations and crafting strategies to mitigate them. Long-term Planning: Focuses on building sustainable testing practices that support ongoing SAP maintenance and upgrades. 3. Leadership and Team Management Team Building: Ability to assemble and nurture a high-performing SAP testing team, often composed of both technical and business experts. Mentorship: Supports team members' growth through coaching, skill development, and knowledge sharing. Cross-functional Collaboration: Works effectively with other departments (e.g., IT, business units) to ensure that testing efforts are comprehensive and aligned with organizational needs. 4. Stakeholder Management Communication Skills: Communicates complex testing concepts clearly and effectively to non-technical stakeholders. Expectation Management: Sets realistic expectations for testing timelines, resources, and outcomes with senior management and project sponsors. Advocacy: Acts as a champion for testing, ensuring it is given appropriate priority within SAP projects. 5. Adaptability and Continuous Learning Embracing Change: Adapts quickly to changes in technology, business processes, and project scope. Innovation: Continuously seeks out new tools, methodologies, and best practices to enhance SAP testing processes.
