| Workday tester San Jose, CA (Onsite) Contract Role Description: Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for Workday Talent and Acquisition modules. Conduct end-to-end testing of Talent Acquisition processes, including recruiting, job requisitions, candidate management, and hiring workflows. Perform regression testing to ensure new configurations or updates do not negatively impact existing functionality. Identify, document, and track defects and inconsistencies in the system using defect management tools. Configuration Work Perform minimal configuration tasks in Workday Talent and Acquisition modules as needed to facilitate testing scenarios. Assist with setting up and maintaining test environments, including creating and modifying business processes, security configurations, and role assignments. Support the implementation of new features and functionality by configuring and testing in Workday. Collaboration and Documentation: Collaborate closely with functional consultants, business analysts, and developers to understand requirements and ensure thorough testing coverage. Document test results, report on testing progress, and provide insights and recommendations based on test findings. Assist in the development and maintenance of testing documentation, including test scripts, test data, and testing standards. Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with the latest Workday updates and releases, particularly in the Talent and Acquisition modules. Provide feedback and suggestions for improving testing processes and enhancing system performance. Support the training of team members on testing best practices and Workday configurations.
