| Title: IBM DataStage and SSIS Developer Location: Onsite In Orlando, FL/ Las Vegas, NV Duration: 6-12 Months (High Possibility of Extension) Visa : Any Visa Interview Mode : Phone + Video Job Description: Overview We are seeking a highly skilled IBM DataStage and SSIS Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing, developing, and maintaining data processing workflows and integrations using IBM DataStage and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS). This role requires a deep understanding of data warehousing, ETL processes, and cloud-based data solutions. Responsibilities Design and Development: o Support and develop and maintain ETL processes using IBM DataStage. o Extract data from various sources, transform it according to business requirements, and load it into target systems. o Has to work with SQL to find the potential data losses/data inconsistency. o Should have excellent analytical skills to debug and find the failures. Data Integration: o Support the integration of data from different sources into a unified data warehouse. Should be able to quickly debug and fix the high priority production issues. o Ensure data quality, consistency, and reliability throughout the ETL processes. Performance Optimization: o Optimize ETL jobs for performance and efficiency. o Implement best practices for performance tuning, error handling, and monitoring. Collaboration: o Work closely with support/dev team to understand data problems, job failures and work on fixes/RCA and deliver solutions that meet business needs. o Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to ensure high code quality and adherence to best practices. o Train team members on DataStage. Maintenance and Troubleshooting: o Monitor and maintain ETL processes to ensure reliability and data integrity. o Troubleshoot and resolve issues in data workflows and integrations. o Should be able to deep dive and debug the solution. Documentation: o Create and maintain technical documentation for data processes, architecture, and workflows. Qualifications Education: o Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Experience: o Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in ETL development using Data stage and SSIS. o Extensive experience with IDM DataStage. Technical Skills: o Proficiency in IBM DataStage. o Hands on experience with SSIS o DataBricks will be plus point. o Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and technologies. Soft Skills: o Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. o Excellent communication and collaboration skills. o Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
