Looking Onsite || Microsoft Dynamics || Urbana, MD (Onsite) Role name: Analyst Role Description: Roles & Responsibilities Develops reports, maintains databases, resource tools, and manages clinical information for managed care efforts. Analyzes data to prepare reports and summaries. Assists the plan leadership and all managers in the analysis for the preparation of operational and financial recommendations to plan leadership. Prepares and presents "Executive" dashboards, Excel reports and/or similar reporting tools to plan leadership and all managers, other internal customers and external clients as required. Analyzes information requests and delivers accurate and timely data to requesting users or clients. Develops and improves financial reports and various tools used within finance / actuarial department for use in the preparation of financial statements as well as other ad hoc business analysis. Assists the plan leadership and all managers in the analysis of plan operations for the preparation of operational and financial recommendations to the plan leadership. Monitors additions to the warehouse for accuracy and relevance while working closely with IS department. Prepares reports used to complete regulatory financial filings and various required filings to be submitted to regulators and quality review organizations. Oversees the data collection process monitoring and reporting to high authority. Validate information for accuracy prior to reporting. Coaches and assist other managers with their development. Develops standards of performance, evaluate performance, and conduct performance management planning. Develops and maintains dashboard reports using MS SQL, MS Excel, and Tableau to visualize data and provide insight applying accurate and appropriate interpretation of data. Builds SSRS and SSIS reports, maintains existing reports and creates new reports. Participates in meetings and on committees and represents the department and hospital in community outreach efforts. Participates in multi-disciplinary quality and service improvement teams.Qualifications Background in Finance and Actuarial Systems - desirable Good knowledge of systems analysis methodologies and approaches, such as Gap / options Analysis, Feasibility Studies, Prototyping, problem Identification, Process Mapping, Requirements elicitation etc. Experience of working in an application support team, ideally with a Financial Services background. Experience of technical IT support and basic understanding of SaaS solutions. This could include payment solutions; BACS-interfacing software; financial reporting; reconciliation / payment applications. Strong knowledge of SDLC, waterfall and agile approaches required Good experience of specific systems analysis techniques such as UML, Activity diagrams & Swim Lanes. Comfortable engaging with business users, eliciting requirements and exploring functionality to ensure positive outcomes.
