| From: suman, vyze [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Job Description - LinkedIn Mandatory, Fast moving position Title : Distributed Antenna System Engineer (DAS System Engineer) Location: Onsite to travel in the NYC/NJ area of client sites with DAS systems to fix/replace them Duration: 12 months Visa: US Citizen only Client: Port Authority of New York and New Jersey Exp- 5 years Role Summary Design and implement wireless communication systems, focusing on in-building DAS for cellular and public safety applications. Provision, commission, integrate, and troubleshoot DAS systems, ensuring optimal performance and reliability. Install and maintain fiber optic and coaxial cables as required for DAS systems. Stay current with emerging technologies, equipment, and best practices in the wireless communications field. Conduct site surveys and RF analysis to determine the best system design and installation strategy. Prepare detailed technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and commissioning reports. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of wireless systems into existing infrastructure. Provide technical support and training to team members and clients as needed.
