| From: ayush, Scalable Systems [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) Specialist Location: Woonsocket, RI About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled SAP MDG Specialist to join our team and play a key role in ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and governance of our master data. You will be responsible for the entire lifecycle of MDG implementations, from design and configuration to deployment and ongoing support. This role requires a deep understanding of SAP functionality, ABAP development, and data integration concepts. Responsibilities: Lead and participate in full lifecycle implementations of SAP MDG solutions. Possess a thorough understanding of standard SAP functionality, including configurations, data models, APIs, and integrations with SAP MDG. Demonstrate a strong grasp of the SAP MDG technical framework, including ABAP Object-Oriented Programming (OO), BADIs, BAPIs/RFCs/Function Modules (FMs), Workflows, BRF+, Enterprise Services, IDocs, Floorplan Manager (FPM), WebDynPro, ABAP Workflow, Fiori, and the MDG API framework. Configure and enhance MDG user interfaces (UI) using FPM, including context-based adaptations, customizations, and user-level home/landing pages. Develop custom code for S/4, SAP MDG, Fiori, workflows, and BRF+ rules as needed. Manage and configure RICEFW objects (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Workflows) within the context of MDG. Possess expertise in ABAP and experience with BADI classes and methods in MDG. Bridge the gap between business process requirements and the technical implementation of SAP MDG. Demonstrate expertise in at least one standard master data domain (e.g., Material Master, Business Partner, Customer, Finance). Facilitate master data workshops and define business rules for data quality and integration with various systems. Configure, customize, enhance, and develop user interfaces based on user roles and permissions. Utilize BRF+ to implement data validations and derivations. Generate user statistics reports within MDG. Possess expert knowledge of Application Link Enabling (ALE) IDocs, distribution models, partner profiles, serialization, and error handling processes. Demonstrate hands-on experience with HANA S/4 and SAP Data Services/Information Steward (SDI/SDQ). Excel in data profiling, transformations, data flow diagram creation, generating dashboards, and integrating data sources with the MDG system. Qualifications: Minimum of 1 year of experience with full life cycle implementations of SAP Master Data Governance (MDG). Strong understanding of standard SAP functionality, including configurations, data models, APIs, and integrations with SAP MDG. In-depth knowledge of the SAP MDG technical framework (ABAP OO, BADIs, BAPIs/RFCs/FMs, Workflows, BRF+, Enterprise Services, IDocs, FPM, WebDynPro, ABAP Workflow, Fiori, and MDG API framework). Experience with MDG UI configuration, FPM UI enhancements, context-based adaptations, customizations, and configuration. SAP development experience on S/4, SAP MDG, Fiori, Workflows, and BRF+ rules. Expertise in ABAP and experience with BADI classes and methods in MDG. Proven ability to translate business process requirements into a successful technical implementation of SAP MDG. Expertise in at least one standard master data domain (e.g., Material Master, Business Partner, Customer, Finance). Experience facilitating master data workshops and defining business rules. Strong understanding of data governance principles and best practices. Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
