FTP Focus Areas: Expertise in loans, credit cards, deposits (both maturity and non-maturity), and equity related to FTP. Empyrean FTP: Thorough understanding of how Empyrean FTP operates, including methodologies and policies for pricing based on interest rates, liquidity, and capital frameworks. FTP Team Responsibilities: Methodologies & Policies: Manage and oversee the methodologies and policies used to transfer price sources and uses. Maintenance: Execute ongoing maintenance of FTP reporting and strategies. Cross-Functional Support: Collaboration: Support interactions between Finance Technology, Capital Adequacy, Treasury, and Business Units. Financial Knowledge: Familiarity with bank balance sheets and income statements to understand the impact of FTP on financial performance. Job Responsibilities: Testing and Evaluation: Conduct Testing: Perform testing and evaluation of project initiatives to identify issues in software or services. Discrepancy Analysis: Analyze discrepancies in service or performance and recommend updates. User Acceptance Testing (UAT): Lead UAT: Plan, lead, and coordinate UAT efforts, ensuring comprehensive testing. Defect Management: Monitor defects, create defect reports, and collaborate with vendors and stakeholders to resolve issues. Reporting and Communication: Monitor Progress: Ensure timely execution of software testing, reporting any bottlenecks, issues, or risks to management. Documentation: Proficient in using MS Office products (Word, Excel) for documentation and reporting. Defect Management Tools: Familiarity with JIRA: Experience with defect management and familiarity with tools like JIRA. Traceability: Familiarity with requirements traceability matrix. Testing Requirements: Creation: Proficient in creating testing requirements from design documents and functional requirements. Understanding: Knowledge of testing phases, entrance and exit criteria, and data creation and maintenance. Essential Skills: FTP Expertise: Strong knowledge and experience with FTP concepts, specifically within the context of banking and financial services. Empyrean FTP Knowledge: Detailed understanding of Empyrean FTP and its application in transfer pricing. Financial Analysis: Ability to analyze and interpret financial data, including balance sheets and income statements. Technical Testing Skills: Proficiency in software testing, UAT, and defect management using tools like JIRA. Documentation and Reporting: Skilled in using MS Office for documentation and reporting, with an ability to create detailed testing requirements. Desirable Skills: Advanced FTP Concepts: Advanced understanding of complex FTP scenarios and their impact on financial performance. Integration Experience: Experience supporting cross-functional teams in financial technology and capital adequacy. Tool Proficiency: Expertise in additional defect management and testing tools beyond JIRA.
