This role is pivotal in driving the transformation and modernization of our CAS platform, ensuring it not only meets current needs but also sets the stage for future advancements in efficiency, speed, and user experience. Essential Functions Designs/develops software solutions requiring general domain knowledge of Claims Adjudication Process and specialized business experience. Works at all layers of the application stack including front-end user interface and backend development. Build and maintain dependable, efficient, and reusable C++ code Manage C++ backend programs Manage code releases using SVN Analyzes user requirements/needs and makes decisions within general parameters under regular supervision. Excellent critical thinking skills with the ability to analyze complex issues and provide effective solutions. Qualifications 3 to 5 years prior related experience in developing back-end applications, for Claims Adjudication System (CAS) Works with business to understand needs and craft requirements and make strategic inputs for leaders on how modernize the system to meet current and future needs Strong understanding of the Claims Adjudication Process Exceptional knowledge of Unix and C/C++ programming Good understanding of RDBMS databases like SQL Server or Oracle Basic understanding of SCM or software configuration management Ability to write clean code Excellent communication and collaboration skills, capable of working effectively with cross-functional teams.
