Skills: Must Have: 4+ years experience Strong Software Engineering experience with in-depth understanding of Python, Scala, Java or equivalent (Python is preferred) Experience on distributed data technologies (e.g. Hadoop, MapReduce, Spark, EMR, etc..) for building efficient, large-scale data pipelines Strong understanding of data architecture, modeling and infrastructure Must be very, very strong with SQL and optimizing queries Prefer Python as main language Experience with SQL and optimizing queries Pluses: Experience building scalable applications on the Cloud ( preferred AWS) Experience building stream-processing applications (Spark streaming, Apache-Flink, Kafka, etc..)
