This includes hands-on new development and support, maintenance, or enhancement of existing applications. The role involves working closely with client management to identify and specify complex business requirements and processes, researching and evaluating alternative solutions, and making recommendations. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, code, test, and document applications. Perform hands-on new development and support, maintenance, or enhancement of existing applications. Work closely with client management to identify and specify complex business requirements. Research and evaluate alternative solutions and make recommendations. Lead development activities, conduct reviews, and ensure timely and accurate completion of system modifications. Collaborate with architects to design, code, test, and implement application programs. Propose innovative technology solutions and contribute to team objectives. Required Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience. 4 to 7 years of hands-on experience in software development. Proficiency with WebLogic Portal and J2EE technologies. Experience with 3-tier, n-tier, cloud computing, and microservices architecture. Hands-on experience with Angular, NgRx, RxJS, and micro-frontend. 3+ years of experience designing and developing microservices using Java/Spring Boot and Node.js. 3+ years of relevant experience with API concepts and technologies such as REST, JSON, XML, SOAP, YAML, GraphQL, and Swagger. Experience in writing RESTful web services using Spring/JAX-RS. Familiarity with agile methodology and CI/CD pipeline. Experience with AWS Cloud Services and development. Spring Portlet development experience. Good working knowledge of HTML, Ajax, jQuery, and JavaScript. Experience with SVN/GIT or equivalent source control systems. Experience with Oracle RDBMS; exposure to PL/SQL is a big plus. AWS Cloud development experience and AWS Developer Certification are highly desired. Experience with WebCenter ADF Framework and Remote portlet configurations with WebCenter Spaces/Portal is a plus. Experience supporting and implementing complex integration projects. Ability to work independently as part of a large team. Experience configuring Web service security policies is a plus. Familiarity with secure coding practices and SOA suite middleware. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus.
