Role: AWS Data Engineer with Pyspark Location: Wilmington, DE or Plano, TX (Only Locals) Duration: Contract Experience: Minimum 10+ years Note: Only H1 Visa who can share PP (Dont share GC, GC EAD, H4, OPT/CPT) Role Description: Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines on AWS using PySpark. Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver high-quality data solutions. Optimize data processing workflows to improve performance and reduce costs. Implement and manage ETL processes, ensuring data integrity and accuracy. Integrate data from various sources, including structured and unstructured data, into AWS data lakes and data warehouses. Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline performance, addressing any issues promptly. Ensure security and compliance in data handling according to company policies and industry standards. Document data engineering processes, workflows, and best practices. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer, with a focus on AWS and PySpark. Strong proficiency in PySpark and Python programming. Extensive experience with AWS services, including S3, EMR, Glue, Lambda, Redshift, and RDS. Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and experience with data modeling. Proficient in SQL and experience with relational databases. Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
