Job Description: Java Azure Developer Location: Chicago IL ( looking for local consultants ) Visa : H1-B ( PP number is mandatory) About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Java Azure Cloud Developer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in Spring Cloud, Docker, Kubernetes, and Microsoft Azure to design, develop, and manage cutting-edge microservices and containerized applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions and ensure the performance and reliability of our applications. Key Responsibilities: Microservices Development: Design and develop robust and scalable microservices using Spring Cloud. Containerization: Implement and maintain containerized applications with Docker and Kubernetes, ensuring efficient deployment and orchestration. Cloud Deployment: Deploy, monitor, and manage applications on Microsoft Azure, utilizing Azure Kubernetes Service, Azure DevOps, and Azure Functions. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with various teams to define, design, and deliver new features, ensuring alignment with project goals. Performance and Quality Assurance: Monitor application performance, ensure high quality and responsiveness, and address performance bottlenecks and bugs. Code Quality and Automation: Contribute to maintaining high standards of code quality, organization, and automation. Requirements: Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Experience: Proven experience as a Spring Cloud Developer, with a strong background in developing and deploying microservices. Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Java 8+ and the Spring Framework (including Spring Boot and Spring Cloud). Hands-on experience with Docker for containerization and Kubernetes for orchestration. Extensive experience with Microsoft Azure services (e.g., Azure Kubernetes Service, Azure DevOps, Azure Functions). Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools. Knowledge of RESTful API design and implementation. Understanding of distributed systems and microservices architecture. Experience with configuration management tools such as Spring Cloud Config. Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and collaboration abilities. Preferred Qualifications: Additional Cloud Experience: Experience with other cloud providers in addition to Azure. Monitoring and Logging: Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and the ELK Stack. Methodologies: Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies. Certifications: Relevant certifications in Microsoft Azure or other pertinent technologies.
