| Visa: USC/GC Rate: $60/hr on C2C (No flex on this) Job Title: Data Integration and ETL Specialist Location: Providence, RI- Hybrid Duration: One Year contract with possibility of extensions Overview: The agency is responsible for managing and allocating state and federal education funds to local school districts, ensuring that resources are distributed accurately and fairly based on student needs and legislative requirements. As part of its mandate, the agency also prepares, manages, and submits the state education budget. This position will support the agency in seeking services and solutions to improve financial management processes. Key Responsibilities: Develop, implement, and maintain data integration and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to support the accurate calculation of funding formulas and the administration of Title-I allocations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data consistency, accuracy, and alignment with legislative requirements. Manage data pipelines and ensure seamless integration between various data sources to support budget preparation and financial management processes. Optimize data workflows and improve the efficiency of ETL processes, ensuring timely and accurate data delivery for reporting and analysis. Assist in the preparation and submission of the state education budget, utilizing data-driven insights to support decision-making. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field. Relevant certifications in data integration, ETL processes, or related areas. Minimum of 5 years of experience in data integration and ETL processes. Strong understanding of data management, financial systems, and education funding mechanisms is a plus. Proficiency in relevant ETL tools and technologies, with a strong analytical mindset. Preferred Skills: Experience working in the public sector, particularly in education or financial management. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail and a focus on data accuracy. Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
