Create innovative and differentiated offerings, staying relevant and in sync with market demand and technology evolution. Deliver advisory services to Senior Management and above in support of technology-enabled business changes. Manage and Deliver technology projects including application development, integration, data migration, testing, etc. for IT organizations. Meet with client staff on a daily basis to understand key issues with how they operate today and identify opportunities for improvement in their operations and technology landscape. Leveraging Excelacoms domestic and international assets and expertise to bring new ideas to clients. Supporting the development of improved capabilities in clients across business processes, people and technology. Developing business cases and implementation roadmaps to support investment decisions. Providing project management and change management support on large- or small-scale transformation projects. Identify and qualify additional business opportunities Prepare solutions and proposals and present to clients Implement MongoDB and Redis database solutions that support distributed, high-performance production environments. Design and manage sharded MongoDB clusters, ensuring data is efficiently distributed and replicated across multiple regions to meet low-latency requirements. Develop and implement Redis Cluster and Sentinel setups to achieve high availability and fault tolerance. Create robust data models and caching strategies that optimize performance and scalability in distributed environments. Conduct in-depth performance tuning and optimization of MongoDB and Redis clusters to ensure databases operate at peak efficiency. Implement query optimization techniques in MongoDB to enhance read and write performance. Utilize Lua scripting in Redis to improve processing efficiency and reduce latency in data retrieval and manipulation. Regularly analyze performance metrics and address bottlenecks proactively to maintain system stability and responsiveness. Develop and maintain scripts using languages such as Python and Bash to automate routine database management tasks. Integrate database management and monitoring processes into CI/CD pipelines to ensure smooth deployment and continuous operation of database services. Implement automated backup and recovery processes, ensuring data integrity and availability. Develop and manage sophisticated monitoring and alerting systems to track the health and performance of MongoDB and Redis clusters. Proactively address any potential issues before they impact the production environment, utilizing strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot complex issues under pressure. Establish and maintain disaster recovery plans, including data backup strategies and failover mechanisms. Implement database hardening and security best practices to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with industry standards. Provide support and guidance to development teams on best practices for interacting with MongoDB and Redis, ensuring efficient use of database resources. Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience in Telecommunications, Media, or Cable is highly preferred Past success in generating new business with existing clients Good time management skills Experience with other NoSQL and caching technologies such as Memcached or DynamoDB. Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and deploying databases in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP). Experience with pipelines and handling large-scale time-series data. Required Qualifications: Bachelors degree, preferably in Computer Science or related field Prior consulting experience in an agile environment with a leading strategy firm, consulting practice, or consulting technology firm Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio) Highly collaborative, team-oriented with strong stakeholder management skills Ability to lead project working groups and possesses strong facilitation and data gathering skills Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with technical and non-technical personnel Experience working extensively with MongoDB and Redis in high-performance production environments. In-depth expertise in MongoDB architecture, including experience with sharding, replication, and query optimization. Advanced knowledge of Redis, including experience with Redis Cluster, Sentinel, Lua scripting, and persistence mechanisms. Proven experience in designing and managing distributed database systems that scale across multiple regions with low-latency requirements. Strong proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automating tasks and integrating with CI/CD pipelines. Solid understanding of networking, security, and database hardening best practices. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues under pressure. Ability to architect and implement MongoDB and Redis solutions that can handle extremely high throughput and low latency requirements. Develop data models and caching strategies that ensure optimal performance and scalability across distributed environments. Conduct performance tuning and optimization of MongoDB and Redis clusters, ensuring that the databases operate at peak efficiency.
