DB Architects Location: Remote Contractors: YES Year of exp 10+ Insurance client Client is looking for a senior AWS architect with strong DB skills to analyze and performance tune the environment supporting their core enrollment platform. JD: In-depth knowledge of MySQL 8/Aurora 3.05 memory architecture and configuration Experience with AWS Aurora MySQL-specific configurations, including instance types and parameter group settings. Proficient using AWS CloudWatch, AWS RDS Performance Insights, and MySQL performance schema for analysis of instance metrics. Experience in performance tuning for web applications with low latency/high concurrency requirements. Understanding of multi-tenant and multi-instance design patterns. Strong analysis skills to diagnose complex database issues. Scripting skills (Bash, Python, Perl, or similar) to construct and run test scenarios.
