| Role: Python Validation Engineer Location: Dearborn,MI Requirement Analysis: Understand the requirements of vehicle systems, platforms, and setup. Collaboration: Work closely with customer teams to clarify requirements when needed. Testing: Create, execute, and debug test cases using a Python-based environment. Agile Development: Operate in an Agile environment, meeting targets set for the sprints. Defect Analysis: Conduct causal analysis of defects and implement fixes for further evaluation. Issue Escalation: Timely identification and escalation of issues and risks. Competencies: Domain: Digital Technology: Python Experience: 4-6 Years Essential Skills: Python Proficiency: Strong experience in Python for software validation or development. Testing Frameworks: Proficiency with pytest and the Slash testing framework in Python. Automotive Subsystems: Good knowledge of automotive subsystems like Body, CCM, ADAS, etc. End-to-End Development: Experience in full-cycle development and testing. Object-Oriented Concepts: Solid understanding of object-oriented principles. Protocols: Familiarity with protocols such as CAN and Ethernet, as well as JSON concepts. Desirable Skills: AUTOSAR Architecture: Understanding of AUTOSAR architecture. Testing Methodologies: Knowledge of white-box and black-box testing methodologies. Problem Solving: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Lifecycle Knowledge: Familiarity with SDLC, STLC, and HIL testing. Model-Based Development: Basic experience using tools for model-based development and code generation.
