(Note: If you are not interested please share it to your friends/Colleagues, Thanks in advance) Role: Developer Location: - Chicago (Downtown), IL (Onsite from Day 1) Long-term Contract Role Description: As a Developer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and integrating complex software applications with a focus on eCommerce solutions, particularly SAP Hybris. You will lead and manage requirement-gathering workshops, define and design B2C functional architectures, and oversee the integration of various systems and technologies to ensure successful multi-country and multi-language rollouts. Key Responsibilities: Requirement Gathering: Lead and manage workshops with SMEs from various business units to gather and define requirements for B2C functional architecture and write comprehensive business blueprint documents. Architecture Design: Design B2C functional architecture in multi-site and multi-country environments, ensuring alignment with business needs. Software Development: Analyze, design, develop, test, and integrate multi-tier and enterprise-level software applications. Hybris Integration: Integrate SAP Hybris with third-party solutions, including payments, 3PL, SAP ECC, and SFDC. Experience with specific Hybris functionalities such as Product Content Management, Web Content Management, Search and Browse, Cart, Checkout, Order Orchestration, and Promotions. eCommerce Implementations: Oversee end-to-end eCommerce implementations, covering both B2B and B2C scenarios, including at least three implementations on Hybris 5.x/6.x. API Integration: Utilize SOAP and REST APIs, including OCC API experience, and integrate with CMS platforms like Adobe AEM or Drupal. Agile Methodology: Engage in agile methodologies, participating in scrum ceremonies and contributing to software and architectural development activities. System Testing: Test end-to-end processes in Hybris, identifying and addressing production and non-production application issues. Performance Monitoring: Use performance monitoring tools like Dynatrace, Splunk, DataDog, and Akamai to ensure application performance and reliability. Collaboration: Collaborate on best practices, code reviews, internal tools, process improvements, and integration patterns for leading eCommerce products. Essential Skills: Hybris Expertise: Hands-on experience with SAP Hybris and a strong knowledge of the Hybris Development Framework. Java Technologies: Sound knowledge of Java technologies, including experience with Java frameworks like Spring and Hibernate. Performance Monitoring: Proficiency in performance monitoring tools such as Dynatrace, Splunk, DataDog, and Akamai. Communication Skills: Good communication skills with the ability to lead situations and make decisions effectively. Production Support: Experience in production and application support. Monitoring Tools: Knowledge of synthetic monitoring tools like Catchpoint. Database Knowledge: Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases. Object-Oriented Programming: Strong object-oriented programming skills, including backend APIs and web-services. Desirable Skills: Version Management: Exposure to Bitbucket or similar source code/version management tools. Containerization: Knowledge of Docker and microservices. Scripting: Experience with shell scripting and working knowledge in a Linux environment. DevOps: Experience in DevOps operations and production support environments.
