Junior Network/Security Engineer (3-6 years max) Client : Sculptor Capital (Financial Sevices) Rate: $45/hr.(little bit flex) Duration : 12+ months contract Location : Hybrid 2 days/ week in NYC (10019) with possible travel to the data center in Carlstadt, NJ Industry : Financial Services USC-GC Network/Security Engineer: At least two years of experience configuring and managing enterprise networks and/or security infrastructure. Experience: Solid understanding of Routing & Switching technologies OR security infrastructure. Experience working with Firewalls. Palo Alto a plus. MACD work including patching and configuration of switchports. Maintain inventory of network and telecom devices. Monitor network/telecom infrastructure and work with vendors on related issues. Apply best practice and necessary upgrades. Respond & investigate to security alerts and apply corrective action. Ability to work independently with a strong sense of system ownership. Preferred: Any EDR, MDR, SIEM experience (Big plus). Experience working with load balancers. Experience with proxy servers. Understanding of Cisco Wireless infrastructure. T elephony support (Big plus). Experience with Networking in Cloud such as Azure . Vulnerability management. Experience with packet sniffing and analyzing. CCNA or any security certification.
