The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of data management and business analysis methodologies. The role requires collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure that all data handling processes align with relevant legal and regulatory standards. Team and Work Environment: Work with the Data Compliance team to investigate, document, and request processes for improved data management. The core project team consists of approximately 5 members but will engage with various IT and business contacts within the company. Experience and knowledge of data analytics are preferred. Key Responsibilities: Requirements Gathering: Work with stakeholders to identify, analyze, and document business requirements related to data compliance. Ensure requirements are clear, comprehensive, and aligned with project goals. Data Mapping and Analysis: Collaborate with data engineers and IT teams to map data flows, identify gaps, and ensure data integrity across systems. Analyze existing processes to identify risks and areas for improvement. Process Improvement: Develop and recommend process improvements to enhance data compliance and governance. Ensure that processes are scalable and sustainable. Documentation: Create detailed documentation, including business requirements, process flows, data mappings, and compliance reports. Ensure that all project documentation is up to date and accessible. Stakeholder Management: Act as a liaison between business stakeholders, IT, and compliance teams. Facilitate meetings, workshops, and communication to ensure alignment and understanding of project objectives. Testing and Validation: Assist in the design and execution of testing strategies to validate compliance with data handling processes. Ensure that all testing aligns with the projects regulatory requirements. Training and Support: Provide training and support to end-users and stakeholders on new processes and compliance requirements. Develop training materials as needed. Risk Management: Identify potential risks related to data compliance and work with the project team to develop mitigation strategies. Day-to-Day Responsibilities: Start the day with a 9 am stand-up call to review upcoming tasks and report on completed ones. Receive guidance from an IT project mentor, track and complete tasks, document everything, and communicate with peers and stakeholders on status and outcomes. Interaction Level: Daily interaction with team members and the hiring manager. Top Priority in the First Few Weeks/Months: Gain access, focus on daily task deliveries, and align with business partners. Biggest Challenge: Ensuring successful communication and alignment with business partners. Required Skills: Top 3 Must-Haves: Medium-level SQL experience Requirements Life Cycle Management Action-Oriented Top 3 Nice-To-Haves: Ensures Accountability Plans & aligns Interpersonal Savvy Education Requirements: Business Intelligence or SQL experience.
