From: Shane, Abdisolutions [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Job Description Job Title: Service Operations Manager Location: Dallas, Houston TX or Seattle, WA (Hybrid Role) Type: Hybrid (4 days onsite, 1 day remote) Preference: Immediate joiners Certification Required: ITIL/ITSM Certification is a must Experience: Automotive experience is a must Job Purpose The Service Operations Manager will collaborate with internal and external IT partners/vendors to monitor and enhance telematics operations. The role involves managing Connected Truck Technical operations, including production issues, quality concerns, system enhancements, sprint releases, reporting, system analytics, vendor management, and customer care. This position plays a key role in implementing the Connected Truck vision and strategy, setting goals, and scheduling periodic platform reviews. Key Responsibilities: Primary lead for day-to-day issue management in the Connected Truck Ecosystem, including executive requests, incidents, outages, and maintenance. Evaluate and monitor Connected Truck Systems for performance trends and issues. Host and manage Issue Triage meetings with vendors to identify root causes and implement solutions. Oversee production validation and performance review of Connected Truck processes and systems. Analyze system performance metrics and recommend changes to business systems (PCRs). Conduct periodic technical reviews of Connected Truck systems health and implement improvement steps. Author and manage Test Plans for Connected Vehicle Systems, including validation reports. Participate in Release Change Control Board (RCCB) meetings to ensure successful validation and release management. Lead issue management process to ensure highly available and resilient systems. Supervise Connected Truck Technical Operations activities and validate current and future telematics services. Communicate effectively with management and business partners on resolved technical operations issues. Education: Bachelors degree preferred Masters degree a plus Related Experience: 15 years of experience with at least five years in automotive, specifically in Technical Operations, Systems Validation, and Vendor Relationship Management. Three years of recent telematics technical experience desired. Skills & Knowledge: Operational and issue management expertise required. In-depth understanding of automotive technology, particularly Telematics and Automotive Apps. Vendor management experience, including Change Requests authoring. Proficiency in Microsoft Office package. Call Center, Billing, and Service systems knowledge desirable. Familiarity with Wireless Technologies and Telematics systems.
