(This will not be a hands-on developer role). Job Summary The Content Coordinator will be responsible for content creation and curation across a wide scope of content-styles and digital platforms, including OK.gov. The Content Coordinator is also responsible for assisting the Department with evaluating current and planned content, in addition to recommending high-level steps to ensure proposed content is cohesive and user-friendly. This individual will also analyze user and agency needs as it relates to the agency online and internal presence. This individual will:- Manage and assist with content-planning and strategy for the agencys website(s) and intranet. Be proficient with Web analytics, approaches and tools. Monitors Web analytics by measuring key content metrics, such as Web traffic, social interactions and on-site engagement. Communicates analytic results and presents improvement recommendations to leadership. Be proficient with Web quality assurance and control approaches and tools. Monitors Website quality and usability by measuring key metrics, such as broken hyperlinks, misspellings, and accessibility issues, and reports these issues and applied corrections to leadership. Manage the implementation of agency Web content policy, procedures and standards. Lead the QA/QC team and oversee all website and intranet changes and ensure proper change control processes are followed. Maintain list of AEM users by permission role and audit monthly, submitting changes as needed and reporting all to leadership. Be proficient in AEM web development or have the capability to be trained to become proficient Be proficient in Microsoft SharePoint or have the capability to be trained to become proficient, and assist with the department SharePoint transition from WordPress. The ideal candidate will: Assure that the Department is in compliance with ADA requirements and the Departments Disclaimer when publishing information internally/externally either virtually or in printed form. Analyze user and business needs. Define user requirements. Understand business and technical requirements. Measure, analyze, and recommend high-level steps to create more cohesive content technical and/or creative. Define a content strategy to help Transportation agencies develop and maintain a great digital experience to successfully impact customer experiences. Use data and analytics to measure, track, and refine communications programs, and provide metrics to program leads. Stay current on industry trends, industry best practices and to recommend and execute new and effective digital communications programs. Work with the AEM Developer to make Website updates, including creating pages, adding content to existing pages, changing and adding new images/graphics, etc. Use SharePoint to make Intranet updates, including creating pages, adding content to existing pages, changing and adding new images/graphics, etc. Provide support to agencies that use the CMS to make all Website updates, including creating pages, adding content to existing pages, changing and adding new images/graphics, etc. Create content that aids citizens understanding of Oklahoma Transportations programs, projects, and services, edit content to ensure consistent quality, voice, messaging and brand adherence. Must have exceptional writing, editing and proofreading skills with the ability to work quickly under deadlines. Must have experience writing technical documentation and creative content that is crisp and compelling, and the ability to adapt to any necessary writing style and agency voice.
