Assist in the configuration, maintenance, and administration of GIS databases, ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and accessibility for users across the organization. Collaborate with GIS analysts, developers, and end-users to identify and resolve technical issues, ensuring the smooth operation of GIS applications and services. Manage GIS-related IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and storage systems, ensuring they are secure, up-to-date, and functioning efficiently. Develop and deliver training sessions, documentation, and user guides to help staff effectively utilize GIS tools and technology, enhancing their ability to perform GIS-related tasks. Monitor and evaluate system performance, implementing improvements and upgrades as needed to support the organizations GIS needs and IT strategy. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelors degree in related field from accredited college or university Knowledge and experience with Esri ArcGIS Desktop (ArcMap/ArcGIS Pro) Graduate GIS Certificate, URISA GISP, Esri ArcGIS Certification, or other related GIS Experience with ArcGIS Online or ArcGIS mobile applications Experience working with Esri geodatabases (e.g. mapping, editing, analysis), or any other GIS data development/management experience Passion to provide excellent customer service and build effective customer relationships Excellent communication, interpersonal, collaboration, and teamwork skills Keywords: information technology Georgia Hiring GIS IT Support Specialist - Atlanta, GA [email protected] |
