Lead the development team, ensuring the capacity and skills align with delivery expectations, particularly in cloud-based and AI-driven environments. Define application roadmaps in collaboration with Solution Architects, incorporating cloud services like AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, and AI models like Claude to enhance Salesforce functionality. Ensure security and compliance within cloud and AI environments, leveraging services like AWS IAM, Azure Security Center, Salesforce Shield, and AI-specific governance. AI-Driven Solutions: Utilize AI models like Claude or similar large language models to automate and enhance business processes within Salesforce. Develop and deploy AI-powered applications or components within Salesforce to improve customer experiences, decision-making, and operational efficiency. Collaborate with data scientists and AI experts to integrate advanced AI capabilities into Salesforce solutions. Project Leadership: Collaborate with all levels of the organization, from team members to senior leadership, to plan and oversee cloud and AI-based Salesforce projects. Plan and oversee application deployment activities, including the use of cloud CI/CD pipelines, AI model deployment, and DevOps practices. Salesforce, Cloud & AI Development: Develop, maintain, and review software with a focus on leveraging cloud services and AI technologies to enhance Salesforce performance and scalability. Execute unit, functional, and integration tests, with a particular emphasis on cloud-based and AI-driven testing and monitoring tools. Investigate and integrate new cloud and AI technologies that can improve Salesforce applications and development activities. Mentorship and Coaching: Mentor and coach development teams on cloud and AI architecture, design, and best practices in Salesforce development. Translate leadership expectations into actionable tasks, focusing on cloud-based solutions, AI-driven processes, and Salesforce best practices. Required Knowledge/Skills: Advanced knowledge of Salesforce development, including Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Web Components. Extensive experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and their integration with Salesforce. Experience with AI models like Claude or similar, and their application within enterprise solutions. Strong understanding of cloud-native and AI-driven development practices, including serverless computing, AI model deployment, cloud data storage, and cloud security.
